For XPROG V5.55/V5.86/V6.12 and V6.17,you can buy Atmega64 to try repiar it,but we will not guarnatee it will works 100%. As Different buyer has different skills and problem different .
For XPROG V6.26 Atmega64 + one small chip ,please check below position as reference .if buyer cannot repair ,Need send back to factory repair . buyer need pay all costs for this .

Tips for using XPROG-M V5.72
1. If your X-Prog is older version,cannot use this newest dongle to update to V5.72
2. Close all of the computer anti-virus software. If not, X-prog software may be killed.
3. Disconnect the internet. If not, the internet may damage the hardware.
4. Uninstall all the old version xprog-m, or xprog box software, make sure that your PC only install V5.60 software we provide
our xprog-box hardware cannot work with other lower or higher version software. If not, the hardware will be damaged, and will lose its warranty…
5. Never try to UPDATE, the hardware will be damaged if you want to try to upgrade it online, without any warranty.

Error About Certifate Expired:
When buyer meet this problem ,it means your computer install other older version and didn’t uninstall yet.and computer has old xprog software registry.red and didn’t uninstall ,so it wil cause this problem .
Now you need buy ATMEGA 64 chip to reflash programmer and then next time must click 6.12registry and then run 6.12 software.
So No matter which version you use,before open software MUST click the right version registry .Otherwise it will runs old version registry and then confilt with new hardware and show this update error.
It improve the PCB performance.

XPROG V6.12 using tips:
1.XPROG V6.12 dongle isn’t compatible with older version Xprog. You are not allowed to update from the older version Xprog V5.55 V5.60 V5.70 V5.84 to this newest V6.12 XPROG-M
2. Please Close all anti-virus software in your computer, becaUse the anti-virus software will kill Xprog V6.12 driver and software.
3. Disconnect internet. Or V6.12 XPROG-M hardware may be damaged .

2.The windows system should be with at lest 2 partitions (except the CD ROM.)
3.Can not be working with virtual harddisk.
Install Steps Manual:
1.Click the file “installation.reg”, get the file information to theregedit.
2.Install the file “AdbeRdr11000_zh_CN.exe”, it is a must, otherwisethe Xprog software will not start.
3.Plug the Xprog main interface to the computer, install the USB driver.
4.Copy the folder “XPROG-BOX6.12” to the desktop, and open it, and runthe “xprogdesktop.exe”, then software open.
